How does the Quantum electronics recycling program work?
You can schedule a pick up for your business electronic waste by using the form above in Toronto, or by calling us at 888-676-4992. Once we receive your e-waste pick up request, a Quantum representative will be in touch with you within 24 business hours to gather information like:
- The type of electronic waste you’re disposing of (computers, servers, printers, etc.)
- The amount of material that you need to have recycled
- Where you would like us to pick up the material from
- Whether the e-waste is ready to be loaded or scattered throughout the office
After we’ve collected this information, your recycling pick up will be scheduled.
The day of pick up, a Quantum truck will come to your office. Your material will be loaded either directly onto palettes or into large boxes for transportation. Our crews come prepared with the equipment they need to gather and load your e-waste as efficiently as possible, and their friendly service aims to exceed your expectations for every pick up.
Once loaded, the truck will bring your material to Quantum’s recycling facility. It is then unloaded and weighed so we can issue a Certificate of Recycling that reflects the total amount of electronic waste that has been diverted from a landfill thanks to your business recycling it with Quantum.

Data destruction
Quantum takes data destruction seriously. All data-bearing devices are recycled with the utmost care and handled using a secure chain of custody that includes locking cargo holds, a GPS enabled fleet, and seal verification.
We provide both digital data wiping and physical hard drive shredding services. The latter can be performed onsite while you watch for true peace of mind, or using one of our mobile secure shredding trucks.
Our physical data destruction process is NAID AAA Certified and adheres to NIST standards.
Quantum’s data erasure process is certified and secure, and there are cyber liability policies in place for any of our multiple available wipe protocols.
We also offer enhanced data destruction services that give you documented proof of your information’s security. Serial numbers are captured and tracked individually at every stage of the process. At the end, you’ll be provided a Certificate of Destruction that identifies each hard drive that was destroyed.
